One of my secret powers is seeing people. Really seeing people:  your quirkiness, your mess, your chaos, your beauty, your love, your joy, your strengths, and your connections. My goal is to capture the essence of your family and the beauty I see in you. I believe a truly beautiful photo is made-up of more than great composition and lighting. For me, beauty radiates from within, blossoming during those special moments of connection that you experience with the ones you love.

And capturing these moments is what my photography business is all about - Love & Joy! So, here’s what to expect…

Getting to know you

We start with our relationship – photographer and client. Getting to know you and your family beyond just a casual greeting allows me to get to sense the heartbeat of your family. And getting to know me means you can know what to expect during the session, relax and finally enjoy the experience of being photographed.

We start with a pre-session consultation where I come to your home and we can ask one another those all-important questions to get to that place of familiarity. We’ll select wardrobe head-to-toe for each family member and determine which location would work best for your end goals for your session. I love conducting family sessions at home where everyone is relaxed and happy! Seeing your décor style and wall space also helps me to photograph purposefully, taking images that will not only fit your style but also your home.

Capturing you

It will be fun. Really. A photo session… fun. Trust me! We’ll play, laugh, be goofy, share stories and explore. Your kids will come away thinking they had a play date while you and your partner can look upon our time together as an opportunity to hand the reigns over to me for a while. Just enjoy watching your children interact with one another and, of course, you!

Premiering your photos

We’ll meet again at your home to premier your photographs live for the first time. It’s not only exciting for the whole family to view the photos together, reliving the expressions captured, but also a wonderful opportunity for me to show you, right on my iPad, how different artwork configurations will look on your walls.  I’ll also share samples of different products and talk you through the ordering process step-by-step to insure you are will enjoy your memories for many years to come. 

Delivering your artwork

I inspect your products and insure they meet my quality standards, then beautifully package everything with special attention and hand deliver to your home. This is most clients’ favorite part! The whole process usually takes three weeks after your order, depending on which products you purchased.
